Wish List
IMMEDIATE NEEDS
1. Donated office-living space for 6 months or longer in Southern California for Dr. Williams. Requirements: A furnished bedroom, suite, or apartment with wireless internet access and attached bathroom.
2. Infant Community materials for approximately nine Infant Community environments.
ONGOING NEEDS
This list is updated regularly with most urgent items on top. Schools, churches, and other organizations can use the Wish List as the basis for community service. Collection ideas include holding scavenger hunts; printing the list in church newsletters; posting the list in college common rooms and providing collection bins; using the list as an excuse for cleaning out kitchen cabinets...
Suggestion for managing a Wish List collection ...
1. Designate a collection and storage site
2. Print out and post to newsletters or bulletin boards, or distribute the Wish List to each participant in the program
3. Collect items
4. Pack boxes for shipping
5. Contact MPP to inform of shipment (an acknowledgement certificate and donation receipt will be sent upon arrival of Wish List items)
6. Call Amtrak or Greyhound for special rates for shipping donated items to a non-profit organization.
